The rain predicted
earlier in the week never came, but it was cool and windy for the first
meet in the series. Still, all the winning times were meet records...
Mark Carroll opened
his season with a sub-eight minute performance in the 3000m. In the women's
3000m, rabbited by Kristen Chisum, Amy Rudolph was the first of six women
under 9:20. Jen Toomey also turned in an impresive opening performance
with a 2:05.45 in the 800m.
